Title: Music file problem
Post by: Sam on November 26, 2016, 10:55:58 PM
Can anyone help me out, I have m4a files which are correctly labelled in the jbp folder however  when the program has loaded and I select one of these albums I get tracks with a dot and •_ before the track name and it takes a credit but doesn't play. If I scroll to the right of the tracks the tracks are there again without the •_ and these work.     Also does anyone have a fix for bonus credits. Say the POP is 1 for 30p, 3 for 60p, 7 for £1. When 2 x 50p are inserted they only get 6 credits. Is there anything I can do. I'm using a sr3 and the jukeblaster cctalk software and a USB lead.

Many thanks in advance
Sam

Hi sam

Looks like a filename problem to me, have you had a look at those music files to see if they have any special characters or anything ?.

Thanks for the reply.
I will go check the naming of files tomorrow. I did have a look and it all looks good to me. But I will check there are no tags or other labels attached to the track names.

Thanks
Sam

I have been and checked today and it seems to be something to do with the memory stick of music being done on a apple imac. Does this shed any light on it. I have taken a photo of the labelling of the music. I will attack it below.
Thanks
Sam

Ok Sam, you have some crazy duplicate files in there, don't know where you got those tracks, see image below...

What did you use to find these. In the c drive and JBP folder it doesn't show then. I was given the music from the site where he box is.

Thanks
Sam.
