FIX, bug that was inserting tracks into the playlist in the wrong position during BGM fading causing track not to play.
FIX, coding error that was preventing numbers being typed on the keyboard from showing in BGM preset input boxes.

I installed JBpro and put my license in the root folder and the program started up ok..... when I shut it down and rebooted - now all you get is a screen with a single search button and if you click and hold to the right of the search button you get a new box appear asking for a pincode Huh  I never entered a pincode and need to know what to do as I cant load any music or do any alterations to the setup etc....

HELP !!

Hi

I ordered a kim module today and got  the jukebox pro software to build a coin op jukebox for my games room using :

elo touch lcd monitor, windows xp, c120 coin mech, new soundstorm wall mount case - at the moment the soundstorm is using custom commercial software and you cannot update the music unless you pay the music license fee which is no good for me because it is for home use

Can Jukeblaster work with i tunes - I have loads of music on my iphone and ipods with album art - will these play on jukeblaster or do I have to somehow convert them to mp3 files??

I don't really want to spend ages with hundreds of cd's making mp3 files.....

It would be great if they did work - can someone let me know please?

Cheers

Tim

Ok

I found out whats wrong,

First the bad news:-
the bbc streams contain information about other streams etc & commands that will send JBP crazy.

The good news:-
I have extracted the correct stream for you, ive tested this and it works just as it should, copy and paste it (its too long to type)

Upon further investigation I've found that the BBC radio stations do play with JBP but there is something odd about the stream (i think they may contain other information), they seem to play ok until you make a music selection, they then inject other bbc tracks or stations & random tracks into the playlist ?, very odd.

Interesting, I will investigate this further over the week-end.

For now I would stay away fromm the bbc url's until I've figured out whats going on.

That doesn't seem to work Steve. Funny thing - it won't let me type the numbers 1,2,3 or 4 in that space where the radio code goes. I had to do it by typing the address in 'Word', and then copying and pasting it. Still nothing. The Earth logo flashes as if it's searching but nothing found.

Wikky, it does work my friend, I've tried it on 2 diffrent PC's now with success, you are probably just typing it wrong ( Dont know why you are typing it manualy in word?)   just hilight the URL in my first post with your mouse and then right-click and choose copy, then put your mouse in one of the empty preset boxes, right-click again and select paste.

Job done  Grin

If still no-go,  go back to main screen and reject anything playing and click the preset button again.
Have another go and let me know how you get on..
