Advertising showing on load up.
« on: December 07, 2013, 08:28:01 PM »
Just installed Videobox registered it and now when i start the program it goes to a green videobox screen and then is followed by random adverts. Never had the problem on the demo. I installed from the cd version i purchased. How to i exit these adverts ?.  Thank You.

Hi zepzod, can you show a picture of what you mean ?.

Maybe its just the pre-installed adverts?, to turn those off - go into the Videobox control panel -> Attract options, and turn off 'Advertising attract', don't forget to click the save button before you exit.

Thats odd, take a screenshot (by pressing Print Screen button on your keyboard) or use your mobile phone to take a picture.

Once I have something to go on I can advise you  ;)

Ok, I think youre going to need a keyboard/mouse to fix this.
do you have, or have you had a 2nd screen attached ?.

What I think is happening is that Videobox is displaying 2nd screen adverts on your main (1st) screen, the screens have got mixed up.

The easy way to cure this is look on the 2nd screen for the Videobox interface, go into the control panel -> Video settings, and set it back to 'User Interface', then drag videobox back to screen 1.

If all else fails, use the new system cleaning tool from the members centre, it will set Videobox back to default, you dont need to uninstall Videobox, just shut Videobox down and run the cleaning tool, then fire Videobox back up (you will have to set Videobox settings all up again).
