CDG files Karaoke

Hope all are doing great. I purchase the Videobox software and I am very happy. A small issue I am dealing with is that I can't open cdg files. When I click on them the software refers to a music file but no the cdg file I would like to open.
Any tips please?

hi did u install the karaoke codec during install ?

Yes I did during the videobox installation.I can't work out what the issue is I  am very happy with the software but I need a solution :-(

ok my best guess is that ur cdg file & mp3 file do not have EXACTLY the very same matching filename

both mp3 & cdg must have exactly the same name, look f or   spaces in the filename or any diffrent characters.

if u cant see any diffrenvce in the filename then rename them both with a new name just to be sure

worst case u can send me ur karaoke tarck an i will take a look at it for u :-)

I tried twice to upload an CDG and MP3 file at the forum but didn't happen. What I tried was:
Rename cdg and mp3 files with no luck 
Check the names one by one which are identical 

I am running out of options brother I need to hire that jukebox New Year Eve
