Re activating after de activation
« on: March 27, 2014, 04:53:20 PM »
Hi there
Wonder if anyone could help me. I de activated my software to add a few more USB ports. I now Carnt work out how to re activate the software. As everything I do I just get the blue screen stating that there is no  valid licence key. I know it says it Carnt be re activated on this machine again. But you stated to ignore this.
Thanks in advance
Sam

Also. I've tried uninstalling and re installing but it's as if it knows it's been on before and doesn't take me to the screen to enter licence key.

Sorry I haven't replied. I've had a busy weekend. I can get pictures tomorrow morning as I work nights and I'm in work at moment. Yes it's a xp machine. Steve kindly sorted it out a few weeks ago. I added more ram and messed it up. But this time I defonately deactivated it as I learnt from my mistake
Again sorry to trouble you and taking so long to reply.

ok sam i tjink i know what the problem is try this ->

install VBX to a new 'different' new location on ur harddrive,  instead of the defalt location

like this ->  instad of instaling to "c:\program files\videobox",   instead install to something like "c:\program files\jukebox\videobox"

give that a go mate am sure it wil work, let me kno :-)

I've tried that. I watched Steve when he did it through the team viewer ( if I got name correct)  when he controlled my pc. And I tried to do what he did and it just does the same thing.  Reading other posts am I best buying windows 7 or 8 and do it that way. The computer is just for the vjb not going to be used as anything else.
Thanks
Sam
