Editing the Track listing background image
« on: November 19, 2011, 11:24:32 PM »
I Would like to be able to change the background image behind the track listings.
I'm talking about the page that is displayed after clicking on the artwork.
I have a lot of singles on my jukebox and some of the track listing pages look bare.
I can then put an image of the album artist in the background to help fill the page.
Maybe just put a pic called artist.jpg in the album folder?

Won't this use up space, and also make it run slower? I know it might not be by much, but it may make a difference to some people's slower machines?

Sure Steve will give a good reason why this isn't possible, or very difficult to manage.

Actually, come to think of it, I already have a good reason why it may not work well. Most artwork is 600x600 pixels, but what if people are using widescreens, or different aspect ratios??? At the moment VBX has to adjust the 'skin' to fit the different aspect ratios. Might look a bit naff on some ratios.

Rob

Nail on the head (on both counts), it would lag & cripple some machines & the artwork would not be the same on any 2 machines.
