second screen not showing up in interface
« on: September 28, 2019, 04:12:48 PM »
Hi Guys,
Firstly sorry for all the duplicates of my last post and thanks for sorting my email, but this time I'm trying to get a 50" plasma display to show my videos but for some reason the videobox interface cannot see my display and just mirrors the main display, connected with HDMI cable not vga, is that the problem. Windows knows the display is there and mirrors the interface nicely but have no control with videobox. Any chance of a you tube tutorial of customising the 2nd display .

thanks again Phil

Hi, search "HDMI" in the forum, there might be some info that may help you.
For example,

hi
could be that windows is mirroring the image to output not videobox so you have to stop windows doing it for videobox to have access
go to your video settings in windows to stop it duplicating
this might work for you

Open display settings and choose the extend option, that should do it.
Also dual screen is not tested with hdmi so you may need to use the vga connector.
