Title: New Installation
Post by: markflickr on June 07, 2016, 06:10:38 PM
Hi,

I am customising an old TouchTunes jukebox cabinet, widenened the opening for the touchscreen to accomadate a 19" Pentranic LCD screen, running a HP PC inside, windows 7, I'd quite like to be able to interface the note validator and coin mech, currently on cctalk.
I like the look of this software (VB)
Any pitfalls i should look out for??

Hi markflickr

There are no realy big gotcha's to worry about, the main thing I would advise is to make sure your jukebox pc has a good graphics card /memory for the best user experience.

Make sure you read the manual, theres a lot in it!, pay special attention to the section about 'Organising your music files', there is also a video that shows you how to do this.

If you're connecting a C/M via ccTalk then you can use our Coin Kit product to help you with that, there are some tutorial videos available if you look in the 'Bry's video tutorials' section of the forum, they will show you how to connect things up  :D
