Title: Search function does not work correctly
Post by: Malloselectronic on April 14, 2017, 05:22:16 PM
The (search) function only allows searching by name of track music, no search artist name or albums
To search by artist name or album must be written in the name of the track music.
Example:
01 - Abba, The Best 16, Waterloo.
02 - Abba, The Best 16, One Man, One Woman.

I have organized my database in this way (Example):
POP MUSIC__
                    ABBA__
                               THE BEST 16__
                                                      01 - Waterloo.
02 - One Man, One Woman.
                                                      03 - .....
                               40 HITS CD1__
                                                      01 - ....
                                                      02 - ....

I have 13280 track music, I can not dedicate myself to modify them all.
Can anybody help me?
In case you can not solve the problem, there is a way to remove this function from the screen?

Hi Mallo

Videobox doesnt create a database, it relys on the track filename for searching, so...
I have 2 solutions for you...

1. Upgrade to 'Pub Jukebox Pro', it does create a datebase and can search your track tags for Artist, Title, Album, Videos & Karaoke :- http://jukeblaster.com/index.php?page=detail&get_id=33&category=

2. Use the 'Filename Fixer' 'Tagifier' tool to change the filenames of your tracks so that they contain the Artist & Title, it will change them in bulk, in minutes! :- http://jukeblaster.com/forum/index.php?topic=250.0
