Title: Music Organization (Problems)
Post by: reno on March 25, 2017, 11:03:19 PM
Good Day forum,
I am having problems sorting out my music in Pub Jukebox. (Registered Copy)

Problem 1:
My Albums Nor the Artists  Are Not being displayed Alphabetically.
Please See Picture # 1

Problem 2:
When I select to the " Artist A-Z" tab, and I select any letter.  Multiple Cards will show up with the same Artist
Please See Picture # 2

What i have tried:
1) Recheck my whole music library in Music Manager for Tags
2) Re-Scan / Convert  Music library with JMC for Pub Software
3) Re-Scan music into Pub Jukebox several times.
Same Results

Hi reno

I tried to look at the pictures but they are too low quality I cant read the text, try this...
Fire up PJX and when you want to take a screenshot:- hold Ctrl key on your keyboard and press Print key (top right), this will copy a screenshot to the clipboard, then just open windows paint (start -> acessories -> paint) and hold Ctrl key then press V key on your keyboard to paste the image, easy!

send me some cool new pic's :-)

Steve

ok reno, i see what you mean about the albums not in A-Z order, please put the problem in bug reports and I will get our Bry to have a look at that...
As for the duplicate albums, I think it will be a case of different spelling in some of the tracks, like spaces at the end or beginning of R Kelly so it creates 2 albums, like these 2 are not the same "R Kelly" & " R Kelly", the second r kelly has a space at the beginning, have a look at the r kelly tracks album tag.
if you cant sort the duplicate albums just let me know and I will take a look for you remotley tomorrow.

Ok i see the problem with the multiple card for the artists. Spaces in the tags were the problem. So I have to go through my 500 artists and do the fix.

Good Day,
            1) I Select the   "Tracks A-Z" Option
This will bring Up the Genre Selection Screen

            2) I Choose a Genre   example " R&B"
This will bring Up all the R&B Artists but artist card will not be in alphabetical  order.  This is the same result for all the Genres.

Hi reno, turns out the alpha order thing is a small coding error, so you found a bug :-).
It will be fixed asap.
