Title: crashing video box since upgrade
Post by: ShakesBar on December 04, 2015, 12:50:28 AM
I don't want to be the douche that posts here because I can't get this fixed.. but this seems to be the only forum area that gets replies..

I've updated and it crashes.. I have to get this working by Friday night.

I've been trying to work out a reason why for about 10 hours and still can't find a solution.

A recent change has made this unstable on windows 7. It works fine on windows 10. All I did was upgrade.

Please see my most recent post in general discussion.

Hi Matt

Please provide the error output text so that I can help you, "it crashes" gives me nothing to go on   :o

If you cant get the output text or get it going just let me know as I will be available tomorrow (sat 5th) for a remote session.

Hi Steve.  Thanks for the reply.

When I say crashes I mean it closes the program. So no error message or text. I'll set up a temporary music play list for tonight if you could do a remote session that would be awesome. I have emailed the TV details already.

Thanks again

Matt

Thanks for looking Steve.

I did do a fresh install and the problem.replicated. do you think it still picked up from the old configuration file?
