Hi bobski, I will try to help  :D

Ok, first of all I would say that the 'collector screen -> import music' is not the way to install your music for the first time, did you try to use the 'Scan music files' in the engineer menu ?.

Ok bobski, so you did the initial scan of your music and then...

You went to the collectors screen for some reason, what did you want to do there ?.

Did it close when you opened the collectors screen ?, or when you opened the music import dialog ?.

What operating system is your pc running ?.

What operating mode is Videobox set to:- party mode, window mode or coin-op mode ?.

Hi, I have the same problem. Scanned drive after installing albums. Created external hard drive from blank drive, all folders copied successfully. it doesn't matter if I install new music on the external hard drive or not. As soon as I press start on the import screen the program closes. Not a big problem as a can add music manually but It would be quicker to import:)

Can you explain a little more on this:- "Created external hard drive from blank drive" ?, external hard drive ? from blank drive ?.... ???

and:- "it doesn't matter if I install new music on the external hard drive or not" ?

are you not using a USB stick for updates ?.

try to explain a little so i can understand the situation  :D
