I've seen something like this a long time ago, I cant remember exactly what it was but I have a feeling it was either some bad tracks (bad tags) or something was mising from the install and it froze looking for it.
Check your track tags first, look for illegal characters(!"£$%%^,_.^&*()) etc.
Try scanning just 1 or 2 tracks that you know work and let them play over and over to see if it still freezes

Hello it does keep coming up when i download saying their is a virus but this is for Easy Music Tagger
i have tried it on my powerfull pc which is a i5 10th gen and 32gb ddr4 ram but it still freezes on music the title lines are

Hi Steve,
Out of curioisty what programming language is the pubjuke software written in?
I am trying to help Richard out with the freezing issue on their jukeboxes and the character issue is doing my head in.
Cheers Steve

The programming language used has nothing to do with the illegal character problem, and it's not just our programs either, any program will have trouble with characters such as "," & "/" for example because they are used as delimiters and escape characters, they will confuse any program.
The only way to fix this is to remove the illegal characters from tags & file path's.

Hi Steve, I was just curious because we use another program for bgm and with that library we use the - character as the title and artist delimiter in our file names and we don't have issues. I was hoping if I knew the program language I could grab an exact list of illegal characters and double check our library that's all.
