Title: Installed ok then.....
Post by: YorkieF on October 10, 2012, 01:40:14 PM
Hi All
I'd just finished uploading all the music after installing .net framework, codecs and flash and the videobox when an "unhandled exception" happened.  Everything froze for at least 10 minutes, so I turned off at the mains and tried rebooting. It then wouldn't recognise the hard disk.  I thought that maybe the disk had given up the ghost so I tried with another.

Nothing - I now don't even get a post sequence.  I've also tried changing the battery on the motherboard and also leaving it out to clear.
The machine is ASrock Ion 330 with 4Gb Ram and 320 hard disk..  It wasn't recognising the hard disk at one point.

My question is this  ... when I get another computer do I have to get another license as I only bought the software 2 days ago?

Thanks  Mike

I was clutching at straws with buying a new disc.  It's not getting as far as the bios and the usb aren't coming on so I couldn't have pressed F2 to get into the bios either :(
