whats the system requirements for jukeblaster to run
-
Hi John
The basic requirements are a PC running standard Windows XP sp2 or vista (not special 64bit version).
There are other requrements that your PC may already have, like sound card to have sound, internet connection for internet radio and for registration, a touchscreen if you want to use the touch features (optional), your PC may need the dot net framework (this a set of microsoft files that you may download for free, link supplied during install).
This is a non-exhaustive sumary of the basic requirements, it is impossible to predict all possible system configurations so if you think your system is unique in some way or you have doubts please by all means ask any questions before purchase.

Sounds to me like you should be fine with that, assuming you dont have tons of other programs etc running all at the same time.
I have had it running fine on an old xp laptop 640mhz with 128ram.

How about windows 98 se?
I have an older jukebox unit which has Win 98se embedded, so kinda stuck with the operating system, any chance someones tried running this on XP? Its an 800mhz machine with 256mb ram which I will bump to 512mb so looks like the hardware is fine but not sure i can get around the embedded windows.

Hi
Thats a tricky one, I think I would try to see if you can install the dot net framework 3.5 on the PC, if it will take the framework then you might have a chance.
