Corrupt installation?

I have loaded around 4,750 music videos (All MP4) and everything seems fine but after a short while the program freezes up (usually when changing tracks).

Last week nothing would work at all so I re-downloaded the program and reinstalled it all... although it never seems possible to get back to a completely clean install where you see the first time installation message.  After reinstall it still would not run so I had to delete the program directory and any other references I could find.   I think a clean install might help!

By looking at the tracklist/playlist the tracks it freezes on can be played if selected when the program is restarted so I dont think there is anything wrong with the tracks, just something wrong in the program/configuration.  Any ideas?

The program crashes whenever its left to play Backgorund Music.   Its fine when playing selected tracks... any ideas?
