Hi, eddiegravestock

Ok, you only need an ssd if you are using any of the 'Enterprise' editions of Pub Jukebox, and only if you are playing videos, let me explain...

The 'Enterprise' editions of Pub Jukebox use encrypted music files and so the hard drive needs to be fast (ssd) to cope with the decoding algorythm, especially for videos (cos the files are big!).

If you are just using the standard Pub Pukebox Pro you dont need an ssd.

Any questions just ask...

Hi Steve, does it matter what kind of SSD you use? There's slight difference in speed with them too. I guess faster is better?

Hi Falbo

I bought some ssd's off ebay for testing and I found the more expensive 'brand name' ones worked best like SanDisk & Samsung, they were detected by the computer better than the cheap no-name ones, so I guess its not just about speed.
