Hmmm, odd one, have you been tinkering with your registry at all ?.

Hi Stampy

Ok, I've checked for you, there is nothing in the VBX shutdown options that should cause the freeze, so I'm guessing you might have buggered your registry or config file somehow.

I think our Bry's JBP tool has been set to check for updates (mistake) thats why it's trying to get a connection, if you dont have a net connection handy it will be prety easy for a guy like you to delete the config file maually, simply navigate to:- (C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\‰ ~\VideoBox.exe_Url_jcnb1du3j21qwwvfnbecfyiueq4yxij1\2.7.0.0)
Your path will not be exactly the same as above but will be very similar, basically the config file is in your windows 'AppData' folder.

Give that a go...

all fixed guys, did a format and reinstalled everything..........its actually the best thing i could have done, windows boot quicker, registry is clean and no annoying glitches.

now i just add the 50gig of music back into it and hide xp again :)
