Title: Program closing.
Post by: Sam on December 06, 2016, 03:05:24 PM
Can anyone help me.  I have a jukebox onsite and they are reporting to me that the jukeblaster pro program closes every now and then. And goes to the windows desktop. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be.  I had the box in my workshop on soak test and I couldn't fault it but they are saying it's doing it again now the box is back on site.

Thanks
Sam

There was nothing atall last time I couldn't fault it. I am going to have a look tomorrow if I get chance. It was only built about 3 months ago. New mother board. New hdd. Used your cctalk program with an sr3 and the USB lead.

It's running on windows xp because of the touch screen used.

I will check the version of jbp tomorrow. I prefer your video box but this site likes the jbp program.

Where would I find any errors. In control panel and administrative tools and the log.

Thanks for a speedy reply.

Hi Sam

If there are no errors showing when the crash happens then its probably something to do with the .net framework, xp sometimes does not report the fault it just kills the attached program :-/.
Check the JBP version and update if needed.
Just a suggestion, install Pub Jukebox instead!, it seems to work well on Xp, I bet they will like it after using it for a week or so :-)

Anyway, check the jbp version and let me know what you find :-?

Me and my dad were only speaking the other day about looking into it after Christmas. Was looking earlier the dongle one looks good.
My only problem is the sites put their own music on and they struggle to label it right for this program.

Will look into it and get back with the results tomorrow. How do I fix the net framework. I would need internet  connection to update wouldn't I. I'll see if I can get any where it is.

Thanks
