VideoBox closing down
« on: June 24, 2015, 09:14:51 AM »
Hi, I connected to a Jukebox today with a touchscreen . After selecting a few songs, an error message occurred saying that Videobox has encountered a problem and needs to close. I tried 2 different PC's and same message. It can only be the touch screen , coin mech, no internal amp ,runs through an external amp. Any suggestions please.

Hi Bry,
I have been trying to help Bsr set up these jukeboxes.

I have attached the windows error picture that he sent me, and another one.
He has also been having License issues where the jukes run fine for anywhere from  2 days to a couple of weeks and then says it cant find the License.

I have another mate that it just happened to the other day. Installed 6 weeks ago and no problems till now. Both are not connected to internet onsite.
Ill try to get more info if you need it, hes not very computer techy.
Thanks

the problem is a corupt user.config file it has nothing to do with license file, this hapens on xp mostly i dont know why but xp sometimes writes t he xml in a way that screws it up

there are a few ways to fix it
1. manyaly delete the user.config file
2. use my system cleaning tool to help u delete the user.config file
3. move ur videobox folder to a diferent location somthing like c:\program files\jukebox\videobox

ps: u need to update looks like an old version
