john, have to be a bit more verbal, what do you mean " tell me the secret
of getting one of these going" & " far i know these are working units for
a sound leisure cab " mean nothing for me ? .

if anyone knows what john means etc I will help if I can, I know a little bit about coin mech's etc.
as i remember the c220b is an older version of the sr5 (correct me if i'm wrong), i think it has the same body an has parallel and serial interface etc

yes it does have pin outs clearly marked

i havent connected my kim to this at this stage what im confused about
is when i connect my 12v-ov supply and insert a coin it doesnt take to
the acept channel it goes out to the eject channel

it might be that the mech is ok but other coin mechs i have used in
the past i always check them with just 12v supply and they acept
coin if they dont and go to eject channel there not powering up[faulty]
yes i have checked it with my meter supply is ok

very odd john
are u sure the mech is a good un?
just a thought but does the spec say anything about inhibiting lines? ie do you have to set any pin high to make it accept?

jukejohn

Just a couple of things you could look at  ;D

Check your coin-op input settings in VBX
Check your key codes for 50p & £2 are not the same using kimflash utility.
Check you c220 has been programmed correctly.

i beleive im either one dumb arse or just unlucky

i connect my c220[which are workers] and the credit works but no matter what i do the credit doesnt change
value for each coin i can put a 20p in gives me 5creds-50p 5creds £1coin 10creds £2coin 5creds
no matter how i try with vjb coin settings it never changes i can put each switch to 1 credit still the same

also connect sr5 via serial cctalk doesnt give any credit and yes enabled cctalk
if i connect this using parrell connectors via a credit board it works the same as
c220 but spits out £2 coins

the c220 are connected via klingon credit boards if this helps

this is my last reach out for help from you guys begining to feel like a pain
in the arse after this i give up  ::)
