A lil update.

Right, had a good look at the upright cab today.
This later model megatouch really is goin to be an easy conversion.
It has lcd touch screen in place. It has a 330 coin mech.which i believe must be the next up from what jukejohns been using, and after reading the trouble hes had im goin to swap it out for an sr3. The coin mech bezels look a similar size so shouldnt be to much of a problem.
It has coin shutes, cash box and switches already in place.
2x arcade speakers mounted halfway up the centre of the cab. Im going to swap these out for some old speakers iv got in the shed, tannoy 602s i think.
Then theres a big void at the bottom for an amp.
I thought drinks holders or tray would be a needed addition . So ive got some from old p2 cabinet. ;D should be good. Although not yet sure how to fix them in place without seeing the brackets. Again, il figure something out.
Iv seen these arcade spinners on ebay too, i like the idea of having a volume knob accessible somewhere just not sure where yet??
Next il have some pics of the parts i have and hopefully the cabinet.
The cabinet itself though cud b a few weeks yet :-[
Until then though il be gettin on with my bartop juke.
Check the pics in my gallery for that.
Il add the updated pics this week.
Nearly there....

Yes you can attach pictures in the post, when you write your post, notice the "Additional Options" (below left), click that and a menu will open, choose the browse button for the picture you want to attach (you can add more pic's if you like) then click post and it will upload em. ;D

Ps: you can put YouTube Videos on as well, just paste the video url into your post, then hilight the url text and click the insert hyperlink button on the tools at the top (world globe icon), the video will show when you post.

Dude, you crack me up, lol, i didnt put the vid on to torment you, (although I find it funny now you mention it)  ;D
I told you before It's all down to reading the spec's before you dive in, if you take 2 mins to google sr3 & sr5 you would know the difrence  :D.

You told me before that you understand electronics, so, read the Kim datasheet, it takes 10 mins to read it all (It took me and Bry 2 months to write it), get a cuppa turn the TV off and give it a read.

Then read the ccTalk section of the sr5 datasheet (you dont have to read it all).  :P

Then you will be informed and awesom, you will understand all things that are coin mech.
;D
