Turn off certain switches (coinkit/coin mech)
« on: June 06, 2016, 03:48:35 AM »
i would like to suggest a feature for coinkit/coinmech/coin kit software

being able to turn off certain switches.
example:
Switch 1 = 10p (old)
Switch 2 = 20p
Switch 3 = 50p
Switch 4 = £1
Switch 5 = £2
Switch 6 = 10p (new)

would there be a way we could disable switch 1 and enable a different switch for the new coins IF the coin mech has been reprogrammed to accept new coins.
plus if switch 1 is disabled it would reject the coins

Hi Laurence

Coin Kit soft already has this feature, check the 'Inhibit' switches.

i'm aware of the coinkit software has the feature. just never managed to get software to pick up my SR5/SR5i coin mech.

the coin mech just wasn't registering, but it registered using the coin kit board. could of been to do with possibly miss wiring and i'm not use to terminal crimping. so that could be the issue i had. but i will most deffinatly have a look when i get a spare SR5/SR5I
