Hi blueprintpeter

Short answer is no, I think kar files are MIDI or something, you can see what files are supported here:-

thanks for the reply.
Where do I get music in CDG karaoke format?
Can other file formats be converted to CDG?

Hi blueprintpeter

You can get karaoke songs from tons of places on the net, we buy ours on cd from eBay and then rip them from the cd to cdg.

I dont know if it woud be possible for KJX to read Kar files as our Bry is the expert on those kind of things, but if you send me a typical sample of one of your Kar files I will pass it on to him and ask him to investigate, maybe he can include the Kar file format in the next update for you  :D
