Title: Videobox reinstallation (safest way)
Post by: Laurence on June 06, 2016, 03:20:03 AM
Heya Guys,

I was just wondering what would be the safest option be to reinstall videobox completely?

Main reason I am asking this question is because other programs I have used in the past I've always deactivated the software and license and then did a reinstall of the operating system then I had activated the software again.

Deactivating the software then reinstall the operating system and then reactivate videobox.

Would this option be best for me or not? As I have seen that when I select deactivate it says that I will not be able to use my key on the same machine that it was previously activated on. I'm not sure if I've miss read something or not.

The main reason I wish to reinstall the operating system is because of the last date to use a Windows 7 or 8 or 8.1 key is 29th July to activate to have a permanent Activation of Windows and I wouldn't want to use a alternative that gives me malware etc.

Many thanks in advance

i'm wanting to do a fresh reinstallation, and i can't because if i deactivate, i cannot use the same key i'm using now on the same machine, which i think is a bit unfair. specially if i maybe changing a sound card which would potentially change the Hardware ID of my PC.

Hi Laurence

Just deactivate it!, you CAN install on the same machine again (as many times as you like), or ANY other machine for that matter, you are not restricted  :D

Once you deactivate you are safe from any problems :-)

may want to make that clearer steve upon deactivation, as it does state that the serial won't be able to be activated on the same machine.

I'll provide a screenshot when i'm on the jukebox and send it your way :)

Unfortunatly the software protection forms were written by a 3rd party security provider so I dont have access to those messages, sorry :-/.
