Backup didn't work on recent update

As far as I'm aware, I install the newest update and it should have all of the old settings? This time it didn't and I had to go through and set it all up again. No biggie as it took me about 10 minutes but still a pain never the less.

Is there something wrong I'm doing or is it something that should have worked for me?

Yes, normally that is true when we fix bugs etc, but we have added a new feature in the bgm section that has its own new settings, and because there are new settings windows overwrites the old settings file, sorree  >:(

Im assuming I ned to go and hit backup all around gain then?
