Title: Licence invalid
Post by: Sam on September 28, 2015, 03:58:26 PM
Hi can anyone help me.
I have a videobox in a sound leisure cabinet and the pub has just rang saying the licence is invalid message is showing.  They don't have keys to the cabinet and no one has been out to it recently.  Does anyone have any idea how this has happened and how I can resolve it.  Thanks Sam.

If you can give me the actual output text of the message I will be able to tell you what the problem is.

I will go up to the pub at some point tomorrow and get some pictures and I will get the full text from it all.
Thanks

Looks like there are 2 problems, the config xml is corrupt and the license file is missing.
Ive seen this sort of thing before on Xp machines, the solution was to drag the videobox folder to a new location or reinstall to a new location.

Yes I had that problem with This box about 18 months ago and the outcome was to install Windows 7.   How would I go about moving it to another folder as its not on xp.  Thanks Sam.

Make another folder, something like:- C:\Program files\jukebox
and then drag your Videobox folder into the new jukebox folder.

or

Just install videobox again to a different location.

Yes all sorted. I deleted the installed files and reinstalled to a new location and it's all working again now.

Awesome, well done mate. I had it once, but just reinstalled over the top which worked for me.
