SR5 + USB PL2303HX ... Detected, but rejecting
« on: August 14, 2018, 01:02:49 PM »
Hi Steve,

Have setup a SR5 coin acceptor with the PL2303HX USB, running everything on a Windows 7 PC and powering from its internal PSU - CoinKit has successfully detected the SR5 and mapped coins, and the Gate Test works (tests, makes a clack and then re-detects the SR5)

My problem is, all coins that are sent through the SR5 are rejected ... no credits added... I've checked the inhibits, and all coins are set to accept.

The SR5 unit has a diagnostic LED on the side, that once powered up displays Green, suggesting the mech is in a booted up and working mode...

I've attached images here also - any help you could offer would be much appreciated!

With thanks,

Joe
