Hi Steve
After many months of problem free operation I have now encountered a problem.
I was updating some folder pics, as I have done many times, into a Bob Dylan album, I have 10 albums of Bob's, the first two already had pictures in them and I added a picture into the third album.
Now when I go to the Bob Dylan category in JBP it only shows the first two albums and none of the other 8.
So I created another folder called Bob Dylan 2 and copied all the albums into that but they do not show either.
I have checked in the music location in JBP and they are showing, and when I serach for a specific track it plays, however it then comes up with an error message
"Unhandled exception has occured in your application. - Parameter is not valid
So I did an uninstall, and deleting all the files with JBP in all the locations, did an install but I have got the same problem again.
I know all about folder structure and file names as I have done it successfully many times before.
Any ideas?
Nick

Hi Nick
It sounds like you are doing something JBP doesnt like, but I can only make a guess without further info.
My guess is that there is something wrong with one of your music files or folders or album picture.
Is the structure correct ?, post a picture and I'l have a look for you.
Is the folder picture correctly named "folder.jpg" ?
if you can give more info on the error that would be usefull, nobody has reported that error before so I would be interested to know all the details, you can see the exception details by clicking the button on the error box that shows.
give me some more info and I'l help if I can ;D
Ps: In future posts could you please not address your problem directly to "Steve" (give the other members of the board a chance to answer),ok ;D

Sorry its been a long time to reply but it is still doing it, and poor ole Bob Dylan is nowhere to be seen on the jukebox, anyway this is the output of the error
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
Hope this helps

I can't seem to be able to show you a pic of my file structure, but I can assure you I understand it very well and it had been working fine

Hi Max
looking at the error, it seems to me there could be a problem with one or more of your pictures, I would suggest changing or removing the album & category pictures to see if that cures the problem.
