tested ssd confussed
« on: September 02, 2012, 02:38:11 PM »
ive got a 16gb sdd drive so tested videobox and a very noticeable speed change i hooked up a sata drive with music files
and quite impressed the drive i used is a early samsung one i bought about 2 years ago so the new ones should work even better

what im confussed about is would there be a even better result with a new one using a second standard drive with the music on
or would it be better to buy a 240gb with everything on also googled about and getting mixed infoe about using xp with ssd i have to use xp on my set up not 7 compatible

so the difference is spending £40 on a 32gb ssd or £160 on a 240gb ssd

any of you dudes clued up with ssd  :-\

I'm also curious about this too..........mainly because i've had 5 sata drives fails on me since i started making my jukes in april this year.

Pretty embarrassing when I hire a machine out and then they call me that night to say the juke turned off and wont boot now.

connected a 240gb ssd and spoton very fast using tinyxp tested on windows 7 fast but much better
with tiny xp
only one thing the eject fading as gon goes instantly to next track maybe bry/steve may want to
look at that in next update as ssd are growing very popular
but other then that brilliant even using large covers spoton  ;D
