Post by: CENTRAL69 on December 03, 2013, 05:45:44 PM
hello I am having trouble setting up the ch926 coin acceptor to the software regarding the correct credits. while I was resetting the coin acceptor due to me doing it wrong I noticed the blue light doesn't flash on the coin kit anymore.do I have to reset it.....my first time doing forums as well, so could do with some help please.
all I want to do is set up 50p for 1 credit and £1 for 5 credits...I take it the pulse gives the value....

i have had it connected up,and it has been lit up blue.it has been mounted on a bit of pps material which is a insulator.had it mounted in a box,all connected up to the ch926 coin mc. it was working fine.i just hadnt set up the coin pulses correct,so i reset the ch926 so i could begin again and it hasnt lit up since.so if this is broke i suppose i have to buy another one at £50 then.......... >:(

Hi central

I opened up a Coin Kit to have a look and from what I can tell in your first picture it looks like you may have the Ground (Gnd) and the Coin (Coin) lines crossed over.
(Ps: my judgement is only based on the wire colours)

One thing i forgot to say is that you also need to check that the coin output line is not damaged on your coin acceptor as well :-/, I will ask our Bry how to do this when I see him as I'm not %100 sure myself, if anyone else knows please help...
