error when trying to run JBP

I get this error right after the "open xxxxxxx.html to activate" prompt window.

I have provided a Screen capture image if that helps.

i have installed the .net framework

i have tried this program on two different computers. just to see if it will run, no go same error.

I plan on activating with my tablet computer.

What operating system is giving you that error ?.

JBP works with windows XP and windows vista (not 64 bit version).

I did a little bit of research on that error you got and from what i can tell it might be something to do with the your .net framework.
Things you could try, uninstall/re-install .net framework 3.5sp1 and .net framework 2.0.
Could you try it on a fresh install perhaps ?, to see if something is interfearing with its operation.
Ps: I like your idea to install it on a tablet pc, would be cool wall mounted :-).

Im %100 sure my software is ok as it's installed on quite a few pc's now, I will work with you to get this sorted as I want to know what the problem is so that it may help someone else with the same problem.

if you have no luck with the suggestions above can you please send me all the contents from the error report.

Still no go
I tried the Reinstall of .net, and reloaded windows.

is the juke blaster program supposed to have a icon?

where should I find the log file?

on the error report, click 'View the contents of the error report'.

Yes, JBP has an icon, its called JBP.ico (why do you ask ?), did you choose to creat an icon during install ?.

Do you have visual studio or visual basic express edition installed on your system ?.

I have visual basic 2008 on a computer at home that i use, but the test subject is clean.

the icon on the desktop is blank (just shows a white box) that is why i asked.

I just looked into the folder and there is what looks to be a invalid icon.

I have attached a screen capture of my install folder and a error log for you.

The fact that your JBP.ico is not showing is strange, try the following:-

1. test that windows media player is working on the target system (play an internet radio station on it and an mp3) does wmp work ?

if that has no effect.

2. install vb express on the target system (to see if your system is missing a componet I have)

I'm throwing this out there.

I just re downloaded and installed on a computer at work and i get the same error as I did with the other two machines. (no icon too)

I tried the visual basic install, and media player works fine.

still no go....... :(

Not saying that you don't run your site well or anything, perhaps the download is corrupt?

Just shooting out ideas.

discard your downloaded JBP files and un-install.

log in-to your account and download a fresh copy

install the new fixed copy.
