I have a issue with background music.
streamed from the net is not a option for me due to bandwidth and costs.
so i have the default options unticked.
my music location path is the default c:\jbp
my problem is jukeblaster plays the same track over and over regardless
the same thing happens whether set as continuous, 5min,etc
im stumped....

Ok, try this, turn BGM off and close Juke Blaster pro.

Go to..  My Music --> Playlists   on your computer and delete any "jbp.wpl" playlitsts there.

Start Juke Blaster Pro and try the BGM again.

Some other things to try.
If it just plays the same song over and over, what does it do if you remove the song ?.

Make sure your songs are correctly aranged as per the Help Manual, it could be that JBP is only finding 1 song.

Let me know how you get on  ;D

the song that gets selected/played last is the song that becomes the bgm's one and only song to get played over and over.

Yes i have tried all of your above idea's including those from other links.
They make no difference at all.
It still just repeats the last selected song over and over forever....

Has this just suddenly started to happen, was it ok on first install ?.
Have you tried to re-install ?

What is the cycle of events, eg do you select a track and then it plays that one over or is it just happening if you just enable constant bgm with nothing playing,
can you describe exactly how it happens so that I can try to reproduce the fault.

i turn on my computer, open JBP and go straight to the settings and select constant for BGM and the very last song that was played is now the new bgm song. if i click reject it fades away and then comes right back, if i click clear list it goes away and then come right back. if i delete the playlist files in My music folder------> playlist it comes back and if i delete the playlist folder all together it automatically creates the folder again after i turn BGM on again and the song comes right back!

the only way the BGM song will change is if i turn BGM off select a new song and then turn BGM on back again and guess what? the new song that was just played is now the BGM theme song! ??? help me

Ok, lets try some other stuff to try pinpoint this nasty little problem... >:(

1. Go to the jbp.wpl in My musisc -> playlists and delete any playlists.
Fire up JBP, with bgm turned off, select a track and let it play to the end and then with no music playing close JBP down.
Now go to the jbp.wpl in My musisc -> playlists and double click the playlist to open it with windows media player, are there any tracks on the playlist ?

2. something else
go into Settings -> Music Location........... how many categories & Tracks do you see listed ?

I am so far convinced the problem lies with your folder structure on your hard drive, you could try music from a diffrent location ?

3. I think you have 2 computers with jbp ?, is it ok on the other comp ?, if so could you copy the music files/foldes over to the faulty one to try that ?
4.If all this fails I would uninstall & reinstall
------------
What are the results from 1. 2. 3. 4. ?

Well Steve....... ;D ;D

Ok so I did what you said.

#1 after playing the song and closing jbp when I went to the playlist folder there was 3 files but only the 2nd of the 3 played and it was the song that was selected in jbp the other 2 where duds. After going back into jbp and turned on the BGM the same song kept replying as usual.

#2
Problem solved inside the jbp folder on the c drive I placed my categories and then inside the categories folder I placed my mp3 files (bad Idea) so that’s why I kept having 1 song reply ( folder structure) so I placed another folder ( album) with my mp3 files and then it worked great. (I was jumping around) so here is what you need to do to make sure it works files must be 3 folders deep(c:/jbp/category/album/sexychick.mp3) hope this helps all you other guys out there that kept having the same problem.

#3 I don’t have jbp on 2 computers I only have 1 license

#4 didn’t have to reinstall or restart.

If anything else comes up i will post
