I am setting up these jukeboxes for US installations and here our largest commonly circulated coin is worth 1/4 of a dollar, so coin machines are significantly impractical and also low-tech for the desires of our customers. In the United States very few things are paid for with coins so I really need a cashless or bill-accepting payment device that can interface with the Pub Jukebox software.
I found a few cashless payment devices that work with ccTalk protocol. This seems the most promising https://www.nayax.com/cashless_payments/, will it work with your system or can your system be modified to accommodate it?
How about this one https://www.microel.biz/en/products/#pagamento? (Minismart MNS)
Any recommendations for payment devices that are not based on currency coins (as opposed to customized tokens, bills or cashless inputs) would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Piper
We have not yet had the need for notes on a Jukebox so I can't give you an exact answer but I can tell you how I would try to do it...
I would start with the PC(Jukebox) to NOTE acceptor(or card) interface, something like this maybe:- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MAME-Compatible-USB-Controller-PCB-Scorpion-XG-2-Hardware/372691393368?hash=item56c6235b58:g:dAgAAOSwIbJdB2ek
Then you need a not acceptor (or card acceptor) that gives pulses when a note (or credit) is accepted, something like this maybe:- https://www.nayax.com/credit-card-solution-for-kiddie-rides/
So, the way it works is... you insert a note or card and a pulse is sent to the interface board, and then the interface board sends a keycode to the jukebox pc to put credits on.
Hope that helps ;D
