volume problems
« on: May 16, 2012, 03:21:45 AM »
hey guys just reading a few posts and rtying to work why my volume for videobox is so much lower then media player.

whats happening is i have added custom shutdown and start up sounds to my comp and i've set the juke to be a perfect level.........however when i shut down the .wav file that plays is so loud people actually jump out their chairs :D

I noticed someone had fixed this issue by using the JBP tool but unfortunately i dont have an internet connection so the tool dosent open for me (just pauses at downloading update screen)

Does it have anything to do with the volume setting in media player?? figured vbx uses media player visualisations so maybe it uses the volume settings too?!

yeah, bit unsure about changing the shutdown sounds volume though.....when you say windows mixer i assume you mean the main volume controls, on there i have the 2 options 1: vcolume control 2: wave........obviosuly the main volume control effects everything so is it the wave volume i need to turn down?? I always thought the wave volume affected the mastwer volume too
