Need Help with Coin Acceptor
« on: August 30, 2018, 03:14:33 PM »
I just got JY-910 coin acceptor, it has both pulse & serial output. But wiring is confusing, attaching the user manual came with the product, and other pics. I am powering the coin acceptor using 12v adapter, for Serial output I have got separate pin with four cables, as per product manual 2nd one is TX and 3rd one is RX. I am confused as what to connect where on USB, and what about 1st & 4th cable on the serial output pin?

Any help or guidance is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have received the attached connector as well with the product, I am not sure how to use it. And surprisingly my USB has 5 cables coming out Red, Black, Green, White and YELLOW. (See the attached pic). Please Guide.

Hi, I have sorted the wiring part and I am able to detect the coin acceptor on 'Serial Port Utility' software. But on CCTalk Coin Kit software it detects the correct port but on selecting the port it says "Access denied to COM3 it may be in use" Please Help.
