Hi chenklein
You say that it plays for 2 hours then stops, you try to play again and it plays for 2 seconds then stops.
Both these tell me that you have the BGM times set wrong somehow.
Ok, here is what i would do.....
Go to BGM and click the "Off" button..
Go to Status and click the "Clear all tracks" button
Go back to BGM and click the "Constant" button..
Stay on BGM screen and repeatedly click the "Up" button on the start time "Hour" untill you hear JBP starts to play a track.
You will then be able to set your BGM finish time to suit
Let me know how it goes

no, unfortunately this doesn't work either, the GBP is set to the same time as my computer, iv tryed going through the hours
at the start time, restarted my computer and it still doesn't work, if i choose a few songs they will play one after the other
but not the BGM
what alse can i do?

Hi
Ok, we will have to go through methodicaly to try work out what is wrong.
1. make sure your internet connection is established and working, then
2. start JBP
3. go to BGM screen, and click one of the internet radio presets
Do you hear music start to play then fades out after a 2 seconds ?.
Ps: make sure you use one of the preset internet radio station you know works (like the default ones JBP comes with)
PPs: Do you have 2 computers with JBP ?, is the same problem on both ?
-
yes i hear music start to play then fades out after a 2 seconds
and yes i have 2 comuters with gbp
but didnt chack the first one yet
ill do it later

it is working on my first computer

Hi
Ok, so everything so far tells me that the BGM time is is somehow wrong and it is rejecting whatever is playing.
So, after it plays for 2 seconds and fades out, did you increase the start hour ?, did you go all way back round ?.
If you did and still not play......
Check your computer clock, does it have same settings as the one on your other computer ?
you could try to uninstall & re-install (BACK UP YOUR LICENCE BEFORE YOU DO THIS)

Hi
You will have to work with me if you want help to resolve your problem, you have not told me the result of trying the above, just saying "i did all of the above!!" tells me nothing!!!, please describe what you have done and what the results were.
There are NO bugs in the BGM system, the BGM is thoroghly tested and Nobody else currently has any problem with it.
You can log into your account at jukeblaster.com and download a fresh copy at any time you wish.
I already asked you to re-install, have you tried that ?, what was the result ?.
As you say JBP is working ok on your other computer, there may be a fault with your PC or operating system.

hi Steve
sorry for being impatience... :-\
i think i got the problem now, its like you said, with the BGM time set,
but not with the "start time"
the problem is with the "finish time"
when i set the finish time after 23:00 the BGM stops working with no regarding to the "start time"
since I'm using JBP at night i need to set the start time to 20:00 pm and finish time to 5:00 am
so what i did was set the start time to 00:00 and the finish time to 23:59
so now its playing 24 hours and stops for one minute between 23:59 to 00:00
its a little bit confusing but seem to solve the problem....
tell me if you have a better idea, beside that the software is great and I'm enjoying it very much ;D !!
do u think that in the future the BGM will also mix the track (no silence between songs) ?

Hi Chen
Now you have explained a bit more I understand what is going on, you want BGM to to span overnight into the next day.
Unfortunatly that would require 2x bgm or some similar coding, BUT, I think you have a good point, I didn't considder that someone would use the bgm like that.
If you want to put this as a feature request in the forum "Wish List" section, I would definitely considder it for inclusion in a future release of JBP ;D
Ps: glad to hear you are enjoying JBP, feel free to post some pictures on the forum, lets see your setup :)

Had to do the same with mine 00:00 to 23:59 but the radio stops working after a few hours and the system defaults to BGM music files. Kinda crappy!
Now after 2 days of that type of operation, the whole player doesn't work.
Doesnt play with money or any BGM.
Sad sad day...
Can you help?
