Title: Home Jukebox
Post by: Janez ptuj on November 29, 2025, 12:37:23 PM
I have problems registering Home Jukebox. I install it properly and register with the key I bought. The program starts and then says Error code: LT2
I bought two licenses and the second license doesn't work either. I tried with Windows 10 and Windows 11 and there is no difference. Please help!

Now it reports an error (Error code: LT1)
Please, if anyone has any advice.

Hi janez, the LT2 code means that something is interfering with the license registration, it could be that something is changing the registry or the license file.

You can try it with win7 if you want to, but it will work with win10, win11 is untested

I installed the program on Windows 10 and registered it, then closed it. When I tried to restart it, it gave me the code LT1. Then I removed the program folder and reinstalled and registered it. While it was running for a minute, the code LT2 appeared.

There is something odd happening with your computer, is it a normal desktop PC ?

This is a LENOVO YOGA with a touchscreen, running regular Windows 10. I also tried with Windows 11, where the same thing happened.

Since I use the Slovenian version of Windows, I also installed the English version of Windows 10 and Windows 11 and it's the same on both.

ok, I had a look at the Home Jukebox code, and I can tell you whats wrong but i can not tell you what is causing it !...

The codes LT1 & LT2 indicate that your windows registry is being changed in some way after you have registered your serial number.
I do not know what is wrong with your pc but nobody else has this problem, you can see for yourself just search this forum.

I'm installing Windows 7 now. This will take some time because I have to manually install all the drivers. I'll report back when I've finished. I'm wondering if I should change my clock to your time zone because there's an hour difference between Central European Time and yours.

I'm also curious if there is an installation program with a different registration method - for those who don't have internet access?

its a good idea to install win7 and set the time.
there is no other install method.
Download the latest version from our website and run the installer as administrator.
Good luck :-)

Hello. I would like to inform you that I also tried to install it on Windows 7 x64 and x86 and it did not work. I also tried to change the clock to English time before installation and installation and that did not work either. Please provide further instructions and help because I purchased two licenses and I want to use the program.

The only thing left you could try is to test it on a different PC.

Tony thanks for your input and help on this as I'm pretty stumped, could be antivirus affecting his files in the install, but he's tried different Os like win7, win10 etc, I'm suspecting something with his computer, if you google Yoga laptop it says something about it being AI enabled, who knows what the hell that means ?,,,

Because Windows is blocking the program from being entered into the registry, I'm wondering if the program includes some kind of tracking or spy program?

Today I tested the program on an All in One HP computer and the same problem occurs here too.

Only Windows Defender is installed on all computers, there is no other antivirus program installed.
