Hi
I Have been too busy the last six months and have not been keeping up with the jukebox up dates. I am having a few problems with one jukebox crashing when they load it up with too many songs.
So i thought i would check for a up date, and i see some big changes. I have read a few posts and looked at the up dates page, but i am not sure where
i should go to up date. Is my old license still going to work? and from what i can gather i should receive a link in a email for the up date ( i am on 2.7 i think). Sorry! all this has probable been answered before
but i just want to be sure before i jump into it.
Regards Andrew
Well done boys on the new look of the web site, you have stepped JukeBlaster up to the next level http://jukeblaster.com/forum/Smileys/default/wink.gif

Ok! no one :'(
My question is how do i download the new up dates? I seen this reply from Steve "When an update is available for VBX all forum subscribers will recieve an announcement with a download location", but i dont see a link in my email to download.

Hiya oneforme
Sorry about this, it seems this has confused a few people including yourself, I will try to explain...
If we sent you an email that contains your serial number (not a lifcense file) & a download link then you have the newer version of JBP with the new licensing system, so you should visit the link in your email to download the fixed version.
If we did NOT send you an email that contains your serial number & a download link then you have the older (legacy) version of JBP and you do not need this update (this update only fixes a bug in the new licensing system it does not add any new features).
I hope the above explains.
Just a few notes for anyone looking at this post and serching the website or forum for download links...
There are no active download links on our website or forum
There will never be any more updates for the legacy versions of our software, see the announcement here:- http://jukeblaster.com/forum/index.php?topic=818.0
Sorry for any confusion guys :-\

Hi
Thanks for the re-ply Steve. I have the older Videobox and i have not up dated for 6 months or more. I think i am on 2.7, "There will never be any more updates for the legacy versions"
So does this mean that i am as high as i am going to go?
Thanks Andrew

i can supply you 2.9 legacy version if you want it

Hi Andrew
JukeJohn, thanks for helping mate :D.
Andrew, we announced the legacy support coming to an end over many months and sent multiple emails to everyone and allowed ample time for everyone to update to the latest version, I can only do so much :).

John, I've removed the email you posted to prevent you from getting spammed by the bots that crawl the forum looking to harvest email addresses.
Just send Andrew a PM or wait for him to contact you, ok ;D

Just looking out for ya, ok ;), I get sh*t loads of spam emails every day due to putting my email about so much in the beginning.
