Title: NSM Coin Mech !!!
Post by: skyman on March 18, 2013, 08:20:45 AM
I didnt know if I should post this in the coin kit section, but it dosen't really concern the coin kit so bear with me  ;)

I wish to retain the existing NSM coin mech which is connected to the normal NSM converter board and I remember reading a post about how to convert these boards to a negitive output for use with KIM's and such like but I now can't find the link to the post !!!!

Anybody ??

ooo those ar old cm's mate i cant remember if they are ccTalk or not, if they are ccTalk they MIGHT work directly wit h coin kit
my advise is to drop the nsm board, an sr3 might be a good replacement for the 'C' range an should work with ck in ccTalk mode directly
or just use one of the cheap multicoin acceptors off ebay only abou 17 quid or something like that as i renember
see me messing about with an sr3 & sr5 with coin kit here http://jukeblaster.com/forum/index.php?topic=445.0

Cheers again Bry  :)

I'll have a fiddle later !!!!!

I did notice that similar NSM convertions by Heron Data used the older mech's but interfaced with a Klingon Credit board that converts it to CCtalk ?!?!?

BINGO !!!!!

The Klingon credit board WILL work with pretty much any coin mech including the C120/C220 and Credit controls 330 and outputs in negitive pulses ready for your coin kit  :) :) :) :) :) :)
