Coin Kit ccTalk software / Coin Acceptor Going To Sleep

Good Evening,
I'm using Coin Kit connected to a Money Controls SR3 Coin Acceptor via a Adafruit USB to TTL Serial Cable.
It has worked flawlessly for over 6 years, I had not used it for a while, so I decided to check it on another PC, It all seemed ok.
When I reinstalled it in it's original PC, it seemed to be working OK. BUT, it seems that if NO coins are inserted for an hour or so, it goes to sleep/disconnect. If I cycle the power on the Coin Acceptor, Coin Kit sees it again and it starts working normally. Anyone come across this before ?

You dont need a battery to retain settings, I think settings are saved in a file, is it forgetting your coin op settings ?, might be a file permissions thing?, did you shut down the Pi correctly ?

I got this working, well enough I guess. I get 2 credits per dollar, cant give extra for $5 doing it the way I have to. Just need to figure out how to keep the settings, maybe install some kind of battery for memory is what I am going to try and figure out.

Is there a way to make the pi remember the settings? So I want it to be full screen jukebox on bootup and it always goes back to freeplay when I want it to be coin operated.

I finally got my bill validator to work and each dollar gives 4 credits and $5 gives 20. Which will work, but I really wanted to do .50 a song so in the coin options I see % but it's stuck on 1% how can I change this to 50% or can I change songs to take 2 credits?

I can't access engineers menu.
Pressing the required numbers and nothing. Doing my head in.

Installed on a new clean windows 11 installation

Pub Jukebox / Constant freezing / crashing - BGM Music wont work

Seems to work fine if theres a constant queue of music, BGM will not work at all, switches to that it crashes completely however its crashing when thats not even active. Running trial version currently with intention of purchasing a licence if i can get it stable.

Hi Mark, sounds like a windows folder permissions thing, did you install Home jukebox as administrator ?, if not give that a try because it might need administrative permission on your machine to create/delete files and folders
