Windows Freeze Issue
« on: August 19, 2025, 11:01:22 PM »
I've recently installed Pub Jukebox on a Windows machine running Windows 11 with 32 gigs of memory.  The software works fine for the first 15 minutes but then it gets frozen where buttons are not responsive.  When I check Task Manager, it reports that Pub Jukebox (32 bit) is not responding.  I have to end the task to get it unstuck.  Anyone have any suggestions?  My System Admin - Meters and Info dialog reports the following:

Software Version:  V1.3.0.0
Available Memory:  25.56 Gb
CPU Speed:  4.001 GHz
Video Ram:  2 Gb - NVIDIA GeForce GT 710

Thanks!

Aaron

I noticed the minimum requirements page doesn't list support for Windows 11.  Should I downgrade to Windows 10?  Windows 11 came out in 2021 and I know MS is terminating support for Windows 10 sometime soon.  Is there anyone out there running successfully on Windows 11?

I appear to have resolved the issue by downgrading to Windows 10.  It's disappointing that no one official here responded on Windows 11 compatibility.  My issue may have been caused by a Windows 11 processor compatibility issue.  Maybe others are successfully running on Windows 11.
