The Keyboard Input Module, or 'Kim' is designed to
offer a cheap and simple way for the hobbyist to make a JukeBox that can accept coins
using the Juke Blaster Pro Software
(software supplied separately)
The Kim board enables you to connect your
Juke Blaster Pro software to the outside world
via the USB port on your Computer..
You can connect.....................
An electronic or mechanical coin acceptor. (Gives credit to play songs)
A track reject button. (Stops the current playing music track by fading it out)
A cabinet door switch (Displays the settings menu when activated)
Plug & Play, once you have attached your switches etc to the Kim board, simply plug it into your PC's USB socket and it will be recognised by Juke Blaster Pro, no drivers to install.
No power supply is required for Kim to work (safe to handle), low power is obtained from the PC's USB socket.
This is an easy, fun weekend project that any novice could undertake and full
documentation is available for you to download.
